Tighe, Kress & Orr, PC Promotes Mohamed Nurmohamed, CPA to Tax Manager
ELGIN, IL (Wednesday, May 22, 2019) – Tighe, Kress & Orr, P.C., a certified public accounting firm, is proud to announce the promotion of Mohamed Nurmohamed from Tax Senior to Tax Manager within the firm. Mo provides advisory and planning services for a wide variety of business and individual clients. Additionally, he works extensively with QuickBooks to assist clients with bookkeeping, accounting needs and handles large and complex compliance areas that include: tax structuring, research and development credits, multi-state, foreign earned income exclusion, controlled foreign corporations, reporting of foreign bank and financial accounts. Mo will assist with managing the Tax Department at Tighe, Kress & Orr, P.C.
Prior to joining the team, Mo worked as a Tax Senior for Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC). “ Mo has shown exemplary ambition and dedication since joining the team. Utilizing his years of experience in the accounting industry, he has performed above expectations by sharing his positive attitude, experience and knowledge with clients and fellow co-workers,” said Keith Orr, Principal of Tighe, Kress & Orr, P.C.
Mo is a graduate from Nova Southeastern University where he received his Master of Science in Taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. During Mo’s time away from the office you will likely find him spending time outdoors with his wife Zahra and their 4 children, Fatimah, Aasiya, Zainab and Abbas.
