If you and your spouse are both employed or you’re single and work more than one job, the IRS is urging you to check your withholding amounts. Due to changes made by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that affect 2018 taxes, the IRS is advising two-income families and taxpayers who work multiple jobs to use its withholding calculator to confirm that the correct amount is being withheld from their paychecks. The calculator will recommend how to complete new Forms W-4 if needed. The IRS news release is at https://bit.ly/2sdehNN. You can also contact us for more information.
